Four roles. Each one defines what a teammate can see and change inside your agency. Owners run the agency; admins run the team; agents run their own pipelines; property managers handle rentals.

What each role is for

The four roles, in plain English.

OWNER

Owner.

The person who created the agency, or whoever ownership was transferred to. There is exactly one owner per agency. The owner cannot be demoted, deactivated, or removed from the Team page — ownership only changes via an explicit transfer.

ADMIN

Admin.

Runs the team. Invites, role changes, deactivations, removals, billing. Has full visibility across every pipeline, contact, and listing in the agency. An agency can have many admins — useful when more than one person is responsible for operations.

AGENT

Agent.

Does the day-to-day work. Sees only the pipelines, contacts, and listings assigned to them. Cannot invite teammates or change billing. The default role for a new invite.

PROPERTY MANAGER

Property manager.

Handles rentals. Agency-wide access to the rentals/tenancies surface, but not to buyer or seller pipelines. Useful when the rentals desk is staffed separately from sales.

FAQ

Things principals actually ask.

How do I change someone's role?

On the dashboard, open Team, click the three-dot menu on the row, choose Change role, and pick one. Admins can change anyone's role except the owner's. Your own role can only be changed by another admin.

Can someone be in two agencies?

No. Each user belongs to exactly one agency at MVP. If a person moves agencies, the new agency invites them and they create a new login. Cross-agency users are a planned future feature.

Who can remove the agency owner?

Nobody, directly. The owner is intentionally immune. To change who owns the agency, the current owner opens the Team page, clicks Transfer on their own row, picks an active admin, and re-enters their password to confirm. The previous owner becomes a regular admin afterward.

What happens to a removed teammate's work?

Everything they had assigned — pipelines, contacts, properties, appointments — moves to the person who removed them. Their sessions are revoked immediately. They can be re-invited later if needed.
